MultiPlan Insurance Coverage For Addiction Treatment
You can use MultiPlan insurance coverage for drug and alcohol rehab centers to cover the cost of all of the programs at our treatment centers in Massachusetts.
Our addiction day treatment programs in Massachusetts are comparable to a typical partial hospitalization program (PHP) or highly intensive outpatient program (HIOP). Day treatment participants at Northstar Recovery Center come to our facilities from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday and from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturdays. This schedule provides optimal structure and support for clients, who will participate in group therapy, psychoeducation, once-weekly individual therapy sessions, and other activities on treatment days, depending on their personal care plan. A common starting level of care, clients may attend day treatment as an alternative to or step down from inpatient drug rehab.
Our intensive outpatient program in MA is the next step down from day treatment. Clients following an intensive outpatient program (IOP) schedule at Northstar Recovery come to treatment for just three hours per day, leaving more time for other responsibilities, like work or college classes. Multiple treatment schedules, including mornings (9 AM to 12 PM), afternoons (12:30 PM to 3:30 PM), and evenings (6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in Southborough or 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM in West Springfield) are available to accommodate your schedule. People may enter IOP as a starting level of care or step down to IOP after completing day treatment.
People with some types of substance use disorders, including alcohol use disorder or opioid use disorder, may benefit from medication. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based approach that combines FDA-approved medications for substance use disorders with other services, like therapy and peer support. We provide MAT in Massachusetts for clients who find that it supports their recovery.
In addition to group therapy, individual therapy, and other treatments used in our programs, Northstar Recovery Center offers family therapy in Massachusetts. When possible, family therapy sessions are strongly recommended for those in our programs. We also offer Northstar family support groups at both of our locations, which provide support to the loved ones of our current or former clients.
Those who are working to overcome addiction often meet the diagnostic criteria for one or more additional mental health conditions. For example, anxiety, mood disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder are common in people with substance use disorders. Our dual-diagnosis treatment center in Massachusetts provides integrated care for people with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns, covered by insurance. In addition to our in-person recovery programs, we are proud to provide virtual addiction treatment in Massachusetts.
