If you recently heard Northstar Recovery Center on 98.5 The Sports Hub, the Sports Hub app, a podcast, or another streaming platform, you’re in the right place.
This fall, Northstar Recovery Center is partnering with Beasley Media Group and 98.5 The Sports Hub on a campaign reaching people throughout Massachusetts through radio, streaming audio, podcasts and connected TV.
But the message behind the ads is much more important than where you heard them.
If drugs or alcohol are affecting your life, your relationships, your work or your ability to be the person you want to be, help is available. You do not have to wait for things to get worse before asking for it.
Addiction Can Affect Anyone
There is no single picture of what someone struggling with addiction looks like.
Many people continue going to work, supporting their families and meeting their responsibilities while privately struggling with alcohol or drugs. They may have tried cutting back, taking breaks or promising themselves that this time will be different.
Sometimes those efforts work for a while. Then the same patterns return.
For others, the consequences have become harder to ignore. Relationships are strained. Work is suffering. Money is disappearing. There may have been health problems, legal trouble, withdrawal symptoms or repeated attempts to stop using.
Wherever you are in that process, you do not need to figure out the next step alone.
What Is Northstar Recovery Center?
Northstar Recovery Center provides addiction and mental health treatment for adults throughout Massachusetts.
We have treatment centers in Southborough and West Springfield, along with virtual addiction treatment options that allow people to participate from home.
Our addiction treatment programs include Day Treatment, Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), outpatient care, dual diagnosis treatment and medication-assisted treatment when appropriate.
Treatment is designed to do more than help someone stop using drugs or alcohol. Recovery also means understanding what has been driving the cycle, developing healthier ways to manage stress and emotions, rebuilding relationships and creating a life that supports long-term sobriety.
Treatment That Can Fit Into Real Life
One of the biggest reasons people delay treatment is the belief that they cannot step away from everything else in their lives.
That is why outpatient treatment can be an important option.
Northstar offers different levels of care and flexible schedules for people balancing recovery with work, school, family and other responsibilities. Depending on your needs, treatment may be available in person, virtually or through a combination of both.
Our Intensive Outpatient Program provides structured treatment without requiring someone to live at a facility. For people who need a higher level of care first, our admissions team can also help coordinate an appropriate detox or inpatient placement before continuing treatment with Northstar.
You do not need to know which program you need before reaching out. That is something we can help you determine.
Maybe You Heard Our Ad Because Someone Came to Mind
Sometimes the person listening is not the person struggling.
If you heard a Northstar Recovery Center ad on 98.5 The Sports Hub and immediately thought about your spouse, partner, child, friend or someone else you care about, trust that instinct.
You cannot force another person to recover, but you can learn what options are available and be prepared when they become willing to accept help. Our admissions team regularly speaks with family members who are unsure what to do next.
Making that call does not commit anyone to treatment. It simply starts a conversation. And if your loved one joins our program, we offer weekly, complimentary, clinically-led support groups to help family members heal as well.
