Our addiction day treatment programs in Massachusetts provide intensive therapy in an outpatient environment. This program is highly structured, meeting six days per week. While in the program, you will attend treatment from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, and from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturdays. During that time, you can expect to participate in group therapy sessions, recovery groups (e.g., 12-step, niche recovery groups, once-weekly individual therapy sessions, and other activities, such as family therapy sessions. We blend evidence-based and supportive treatments to help people get the most out of our programs. Every client gets their own individualized treatment plan.
Our intensive outpatient program in MA has a significantly reduced time commitment compared to day treatment, but the same effective and personalized approach is used. Some people step down to our intensive outpatient program (IOP) schedules after completing day treatment, whereas others start their treatment journey with this level of care. Treatment sessions last for about three hours per day. You can choose from our morning (9:00 AM to noon), afternoon (12:30 PM to 3:30 PM), or evening IOP schedules.
Our evening IOP meets from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM in West Springfield and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in Southborough. This program is an ideal option for people who are unable to attend treatment during the day due to commitments like work or school, or for those who prefer evening sessions for any other reason.
