We Are Here For You
Drug Rehab Programs Near Amherst, MA
Our drug rehab programs near Amherst, MA, provide flexible and personalized care for addiction and dual-diagnosis disorders. We offer a range of specialized treatment programs and services, including but not limited to:
Our day treatment program in Massachusetts meets six days per week. Clients in this program can expect to attend treatment from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM during the week, Monday through Friday, and on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Your schedule will involve group therapy, individual therapy, 12-step meetings, yoga, and other activities, such as family therapy, as outlined in your personal treatment plan. Comparable to a typical partial hospitalization program (PHP) or highly intensive outpatient program (HIOP), this is our most structured level of care. Day treatment can act as an alternative to or a step down from an inpatient rehab program.
Our partial day treatment program has a lower time commitment than our day treatment program. Clients in this program attend three-hour-long sessions on treatment days. As an incoming partial day treatment client, you’ll get to choose from one of the following schedules.
- Mornings: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
- Afternoons: 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
- Evenings: 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM (West Springfield) or 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (Southborough).
You start your treatment journey at Northstar Recovery Center with our partial day program, or you can step down to partial day treatment after completing our day treatment program. Since this program is less intensive than day treatment, it is suitable for clients who need to balance responsibilities like work with drug and alcohol rehab.
Our virtual intensive outpatient program is a convenient option for clients living in Amherst and the surrounding areas. Rather than commuting to a Northstar Recovery Center location for in-person treatment throughout the week, this program meets entirely online via secure and private video sessions. We also offer hybrid scheduling, which combines online and in-person therapy sessions.
At Northstar Recovery Center, we fully understand how drug and alcohol abuse can affect loved ones of those facing addiction. In addition to offering family therapy sessions as a part of the treatment process, we hold regular family support group meetings at both of our locations on Monday evenings. Northstar family support groups are open to the adult loved ones of our current and former clients.
Northstar Recovery offers aftercare planning to help you set yourself up for success after treatment. As your program ends, we will make sure that you have the ongoing support you need to protect your sobriety and keep making progress. Additionally, our free alumni support program will ensure that you remain connected to a strong, sober community post-treatment.
