Our day treatment program in Massachusetts meets Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM and on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Also called a partial hospitalization program (PHP) or high-intensity outpatient program (HIOP), the day treatment program at Northstar Recovery provides intensive therapy without inpatient hospitalization. This level of care is an ideal starting point for many clients because it is highly structured, helping you build and stick to healthy routines that support your sobriety. Clients participate in groups, individual therapy sessions, 12-step meetings, and other activities (e.g., family therapy), depending on their personal treatment plan.
Our partial day treatment option requires a lower time commitment than day treatment, making it an ideal choice for those who are ready to return to work (or who are able to continue working) while getting treatment. As a partial day treatment client, you can choose from one of the following treatment schedules:
- Mornings, from 9 AM to 12 PM.
- Afternoons, from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
- Evenings, from 6 PM to 9 PM (Southborough) or from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM (West Springfield).
