Northstar Recovery Center’s drug rehab near Worcester offers the following programs and services. We offer an extensive and diverse blend of therapy types. All Northstar clients get personalized treatment plans.
Our day treatment program in Massachusetts provides intensive care on an outpatient basis. This program meets six days per week. Clients participate in day treatment from 9 AM to 3:30 PM during the week (Monday through Friday) and on Saturdays from 9 AM to 2 PM. A typical day treatment schedule at our facilities will involve group therapy, individual therapy sessions, 12-step meetings, yoga, family therapy, and other activities. This level of care is immersive and can act as an alternative to inpatient drug and alcohol rehab. However, some of our clients enter day treatment after finishing an inpatient addiction treatment program elsewhere.
The partial day treatment program at Northstar Recovery Center requires a lower time commitment than the day treatment program. Clients in our partial day program participate in three-hour sessions on treatment days and can choose from the following treatment schedules.
- Morning Schedule: 9 AM to 12 PM.
- Afternoon Schedule: 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
- Evening Schedule: 6 PM to 9 PM (Southborough location) or 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM (West Springfield location).
The partial day program at Northstar Recovery is an ideal option for clients who need to balance obligations like work with drug and alcohol rehab. Some clients enter partial day treatment as a starting level of care. Others step down to the program when they are ready to transition out of day treatment.
In addition to our in-person treatment options, Northstar Recovery has a fully online virtual intensive outpatient program. Clients in virtual intensive outpatient treatment participate in secure and private online therapy sessions. The program meets entirely online, making it a convenient option for those seeking drug rehab in Worcester who do not want to commute to treatment throughout the week. We also offer hybrid scheduling for clients who would like to combine in-person and virtual therapy.
Our alumni program provides continued support for former clients in Worcester and all other areas we serve. The alumni program at Northstar Recovery Center provides resources such as aftercare, planning, relapse prevention, medication, assistance, outings, events, and support group meetings.
At Northstar Recovery, we understand how substance use disorders can affect loved ones. In addition to family therapy sessions, we offer family support groups. These groups are open to adult loved ones of our current or former clients. Northstar family support groups meet on Monday evenings at both of our locations.
