The insurance verification process for treatment at Northsar should take a few minutes or less with your insurance information, including your member ID, ready.

Here’s how it works when you choose Northstar and leverage your insurance:
- Reach Out – Contact us (call, online form) and share some basic info, including your insurance provider, member ID, etc.
- Insurance Verification – We confirm what your plan covers: what level(s) of care, what therapies, what medications, what mental health services.
- No Surprise Costs – We explain any deductibles, co-pays, or coinsurance you’ll be responsible for. If your insurance doesn’t cover certain things, we’ll discuss options.
- Assessment – Clinicians assess your needs: substance(s), mental health, history, risk, social support, etc.
